Takeda UK - Case Study
Transforming Work Flows & Taming TEAMS
Priority Management has trained over 280 Takeda employees in the UK since 2018. Recently, we ran our WorkingSmart with Microsoft TEAMS
course for the Rare Business Unit Team, and here are the results.
Background
Takeda is a research-based global company, employing 30,000 people, with its main focus on pharmaceuticals. As the largest pharmaceutical company in Japan and one of the global leaders of the industry, Takeda is committed to strive towards better health for patients worldwide through leading innovation in medicine. Takeda's ethical drugs are marketed in around 100 countries worldwide. Since 2018 Priority Management has trained over 250 Takeda people in the UK.
Challenge to Priority Management
The challenges presented by Takeda’s Rare Business Unit team to Priority Management was overall to improve collaboration by helping with the roll-out and adoption of Microsoft TEAMS. Specific objectives were to overcome issues like inconsistent use of TEAMS capabilities and structures. Other issues were not everyone using TEAMS for internal communications and difficulty finding shared files. Also, people were missing key messages and overwhelmed with notifications.
Priority Management Solution
Priority Management show people WHY to use technology by connecting it to their jobs. Microsoft TEAMS provides a wide range of organisational tools that can cause confusion and result in low adoption without adding best practice productivity behaviours.
WorkingSmart with Microsoft TEAMS simplifies Work Flows to deliver better collaboration. Guidelines are provided for teams to agree how to make the most of TEAMS.
Tailoring
Each class is tailored, based on the needs and priorities identified in the pre-training ‘Microsoft TEAMS Experience Survey’ .

Experience
Delivery is Instructor-led with highly interactive online webshops, followed-up with individual online coaching – this customises the new ways of working.
